試 すBecome a product tester —
without the nonsense.
"Get paid to test products" is one of the most abused phrases on the internet. Most sites using it are affiliate farms selling you a list of other sites. This page explains exactly what our panel is, what each study pays, who can join, and where the limits are — so you can decide before handing over an email address.

How to tell a real research panel from a list-seller
This applies to us and to everyone else. Four tests, and any panel worth joining passes all four.
- It is free to join. Genuine research is paid for by the client company, never by the participant. A joining fee, a "starter kit", or a paid membership tier means the product being sold is you.
- Payment terms are stated before you agree. You should know the fee, the format and the time commitment in the invitation itself — not after completing a screening questionnaire.
- They ask for the minimum. A study needs your country, age band and relevant category habits. It does not need your national insurance number, your bank login, or a photograph of your passport.
- You can leave in one click. Unsubscribe should work immediately, and a deletion request should be honoured without an argument.
If a panel fails any of these, close the tab. That includes this one.
Study types and what they pay
Five formats. Indicative rates.
Rates below are typical rather than guaranteed — a study's fee depends on how much of your time and attention it genuinely needs. The exact figure is always in the invitation, before you commit to anything.
| Format | Time | Typical payment | Keep the product? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Online concept & packaging test React to names, labels, English copy and claims before manufacture. |
20–40 min | £15 – £30 | No product |
| Product home-use test A box arrives. You use the items normally and complete a short diary. |
2–6 weeks a few minutes weekly |
£0 – £150 | Yes, always |
| Depth interview One-to-one video call about your habits and reactions in a category. |
30–60 min | £40 – £90 | Sometimes |
| Group discussion Six to eight participants, online or in central London. |
90 min | £60 – £120 | Sometimes |
| App & service usability session Screen-share while using a Japanese app or platform. Thinking aloud. |
45–60 min | £50 – £100 | No product |
Money, by transfer or voucher
Paid within ten working days of the study closing. Bank transfer or a gift voucher of your choosing — we will ask which you prefer. Payment is never conditional on your feedback being positive. If you hated the product and said so clearly, you have done the job well.
The box is the payment
Common in food, drink and beauty, where the shipment itself is worth more than a small fee. Nothing to return, nothing to pay, no postage. Clearly labelled as product-only in the invitation so you are never surprised.

Eligibility
Who can join
The bar is deliberately low. Most studies want ordinary consumers, not experts.
- 18 or over. No exceptions, including for family-product studies.
- Resident in the UK, US, Ireland, Australia or Canada. Shipment studies are largely UK-only for customs reasons; online studies are open across all five.
- Able to respond in English. Written or spoken, whichever the study needs. Perfect grammar is irrelevant — we want your actual words.
- Willing to be blunt. The single most common reason a participant is not re-invited is answering everything positively. Politeness is the enemy of useful research.
Two things that do not matter: whether you know anything about Japan, and whether you have done research before. Both are frequently a disadvantage.
Food and beauty studies: you will be asked to declare allergies and skin sensitivities before any shipment. Full ingredient information in English is provided before you use anything, and you can withdraw at that point with no penalty.
Your data
What the client sees, and what they do not
Aggregated results, and your verbatim comments — the exact sentences you wrote or said. These are the most valuable part of any study and the reason clients commission the work.
Your name, email address, postal address, phone number, or anything that could identify you. Shipments are fulfilled by us, not by the client.
Withdraw from a study before it closes and your responses are removed. Ask us to delete your record and it goes, along with any historical responses still linked to you.
Ready when you are.
Three required fields. No fee, no obligation, no study you did not agree to.
